Krishan Ahuja

Krishan “Krish” Ahuja is a Regents Professor in the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering and a 2019 inductee to the National Academy of Engineering. Ahuja has more than 40 years of research and development experience in aircraft/rotorcraft noise research, acoustics facilities design, flow control, state-of-the-art instrumentation, and advanced signal processing. He is affiliated with the Georgia Tech Research Institute’s Aerospace Transportation and Advanced Systems Department that operates a large Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) laboratory with spaces for the fabrication of small UAVs, UAV system components, and sensor integration. Industry-scale anechoic chambers, flight simulation facilities, and impedance tubes are available for acoustic testing of UAVs and developing noise mitigation technologies. It also serves as the location for fabrication of various test configurations for use in GTRI’s other aerospace research facilities.
